Authorization terms

Customers sign these statements before any test is sent.

  1. I am authorized by the business that owns the website [the website I register] and its HubSpot account to approve this testing.
  2. I authorize FormProof to send labeled test submissions to the one HubSpot form I select on that page: one check when I ask during setup, then up to 4 scheduled checks and 4 on-demand checks in each 30-day period.
  3. Each test uses the name "FormProof Test", a unique email address controlled by FormProof, and a message that begins "TEST INQUIRY". A test may trigger the same HubSpot workflows, notifications and automations as a real submission. I will tell anyone who receives those notifications that test inquiries need no action.
  4. I grant read access to contacts and forms, and permission to delete the test contacts this service creates. The service does not change or delete any other record. Deleted test contacts stay restorable in HubSpot's recycle bin for 90 days.
  5. Before each test, FormProof loads my page in a headless browser (identifying itself as HeadlessChrome) to confirm the form renders and can be filled with the test values. It never clicks Submit, and it does not get around CAPTCHA or bot protection. The test itself is then sent to the selected form through HubSpot's form submission service; my website's Submit button is not clicked. Loading the page may count as a page view and a form view in my analytics.
  6. Test contacts are deleted after each check. I can disconnect HubSpot and delete my account data at any time from Settings.
  7. Each result describes one test at one time. It does not guarantee that every inquiry is delivered.
